Two men are now in custody in connection with a fatal shooting last month in Topeka. Police say the suspects were arrested Sunday on suspicion of first-degree murder. It wasn't immediately clear if the men have been formally charged.
Both were arrested without incident. The shooting happened about 4:45 a.m. May 27, killing Aaron Shepherd, 49, of Topeka.
