A three-alarm fire destroyed a Wichita apartment building late Thursday night, sending two people to the hospital.
The fire broke out around 11 p.m. at the Sundance Apartments in the 1900 block of N. Rock Road. The fire department called the third alarm as flames spread through the roof of the building.
Sixteen apartments were damaged, and two people were hospitalized from injuries suffered in the blaze.
The fire caused at least $1 million in damages.
Victims say they were required to have renters insurance.
