A shooting spree last Friday night in the north part of Wichita resulted in one man's death, a dog shot, and the male suspect shot by police officers.

The 33-year-old suspect has been released from the hospital and is now in jail, facing multiple charges including suspicion of first-degree murder.

Investigators say the suspect shot and killed 40-year-old Myron Tucker near 13th & Main just before 9:00 Friday night. He then allegedly robbed two people, stealing a bicycle.  A few minutes later he allegedly fired multiple gunshots into a home, with a bullet wounding a dog, and then firing at a car, barely missing a man inside.

At 11th and Broadway, the shootings continued, but that's where the suspect pointed a gun at police officers who'd caught up with him, and officers fired back.
