The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office is investigating the murder of a 23-year-old man from Wichita after his body was found outside a home in Haysville.

Sheriff's deputies were called early Thursday afternoon to check on the well-being of a man reported to be lying in the yard next to the home in the 200 block of E. 86th Street South, west of Broadway.
Deputies discovered the man was dead; there was obvious trauma, and he had suffered a gunshot wound.
