An investigation is underway to discover who vandalized the football field at South High's Carpenter stadium Thursday night.
District officials said that the incident involving a stolen vehicle that drove through a fence, tearing up field, was not discovered until Friday morning.
The damage was so extensive that the Friday homecoming game between South and West had to be moved to Goddard.
Wichita police are now investigating.
Damage was estimated to be around $10,000.
