Christmas Day of 2025 the warmest on record in Wichita history after temperatures reached 75 degrees on Thursday afternoon.
The recorded temperature surpassed the previous record, 68 degrees, set only six years ago, in 2019.
It was hotter in Wichta this Christmas than it was in Death Valley, Palm Springs, and Phoenix.
