A Wellington man was fatally struck while crossing U.S. Highway 160 early Friday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says Chuck E. Flynn, 65, of Wellington was running from north to south across U.S. 160, in the 1400 block E. 16th Street in east Wellington, when he was struck by a 2015 Dodge Challenger.
The occupants inside the vehicle were not injured.
