A Disaster Declaration was issued Friday due to a dangerous level of Blue-Green Algae in the water supply in Sumner County.
It affects the city of Wellington, Mayfield and Sumner County Rural Water Districts 1, 2, and 3.
Wellington City Manager Jeff Porter says their water treatment system has been overwhelmed.
Children under the age of 6, are being advised not to drink the water until further notice.
