
The Wichita City Council approved a 3-year agreement for economic development services.
The agreement with the Greater Wichita Partnership will cost the city $400,000 annually. At Tuesday’s meeting, Mayor Brandon Whipple thanked the group for partnering with the city, county and private sector.
According to the city, the Greater Wichita Partnership has delivered 88 projects and over 2100 new jobs in just the last 2 years, along with $94 million in capital investment and $70 million in annual payroll.
