The Wichita City Council has approved the city's group health, vision and dental plans for 2024.
Group health premiums will increase by two percent next year while dental premiums go up by 0.3 percent.
That means a city employee utilizing a family health plan will see an increase of $2.64 to as much as $8.65 per month. The plan for a single person will increase from $0.88 to as much as $2.79 per month.
Dental monthly increases will vary from $0.07 to as much as $0.27 per month, depending on the tier and plan chosen.
