The Wichita City Council has several items they plan to tackle at Tuesday's weekly meeting.
We'll find out if the city will sign a lease agreement to build a new hotel north of Eisenhower National Airport. This item was deferred from April 20.
A public hearing will be held on proposed assessments for numerous paving, water and sewer projects around the city. Property owners will be mailed the assessments on May 14 and will have 30 days to pay it.
The city looks to approve updating fire codes, something that's typically done on a three or six-year cycle.
Finally, the city will discuss the tourism budget for 2022, which will be paid from a 2.75% nightly hotel room fee.
