Wichita City Council to look at street paving

Lily Wu
CITY OF WICHITA

At Tuesday's meeting the Wichita City Council will discuss spending two million dollars to pave two percent of the City's dirt streets that are close to schools. Mayor Lily Wu tells KNSS News the Council will also look at the Outsourced Pavement Preservation Program in 2025 to maintain around 366 lane-miles of City streets with a total budget of $15.5 million.

Wu says Wichita's citizens have made it clear that street maintenance is a top priority.

Wu commented during Mondays with the Mayor on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
