Wichita Fire crews responded to an apartment fire Saturday night.
It happened a little after 10 p.m., in the 1600 block of south Elpyco, that's near Harry and Oliver.
The first fire crews reported that smoke and flames were coming from the first and second floor of the building. Commanders requested two additional engine companies to help battle the blaze.
There's no word yet on what started the fire and a damage estimate has not been released. WFD says there was no one inside of the unoccupied structure.
