Wichita Fire units responded to a house fire early Saturday morning.
The blaze was reported in the two-story home around 2:45 a.m., in the 1000 of south Topeka. Thanks to the wind, the fire spread to adjacent structures nearby. People had to be rescued from those structures but no injuries were reported.
A cause for the fire and a damage estimate is not yet available.
