Wichita Fire units respond to overnight downtown fire

Wichita fire crews battled an overnight blaze in the downtown area.

The call came in around 3 a.m., from a two-story duplex in the 900 block of N. Broadway.

The fire was extinguished within 30 minutes but two apartments are unlivable. The Red Cross has been called to assist.

No one was hurt. There's no damage estimate available at this time.
