
The second vote on a proposed contract between the Machinists Union and SpiritAerosystems has been approved.
Following Thursday's vote. Union President Corrnell Beard announced approval of the 4-year contract.
The second tentative contract passed with 63% of union members voting “yes.”
The company said in a statement that they are beginning to restore operations at its Wichita plant on Friday, with plans to fully resume production on Wednesday, July 5th.
