A Wichita man is on trial for allegedly kidnapping and raping a girl, 15, who was walking home.

It happened near 2nd and Grove on November 18, 2019 when Anthony Seymour, 61, allegedly forcing the girl at knifepoint into his black 2005 Lexus and sexually assaulted her.
When officers responded to an abduction report, Seymour's car was observed leaving the area. The teen got out and ran toward the officers.
Police said Seymour fled the area but was later arrested near 17th and Hillside.
Records indicate that Seymour was convicted in 2004 of raping a girl, 14. He was last paroled in May of 2018.
