Wichita Mayor Brandon Whipple refuses to resign or apologies after the Fraternal Order of Police has called for him to do so.

An officer's body cam video was released last week, showing intense moments involving the Mayor. It happened during a clean-up event for The South-West Neighborhood Association in September.
The Mayor says the officer acted inappropriately, after Whipple drove into the wrong area. He threatened to file a complaint on the officer because he didn't turn on his body camera sooner.
The department has defended the officer, saying he did nothing wrong.
Meanwhile, during Thursday's news briefing, Wichita Mayor Brandon Whipple discussed the rejection of his $1,500 donation to The South-West Neighborhood Association, saying the money was intended to sponsor two dumpsters for the next clean-up.
The association voted to return Whipple’s check, saying it’s because the city now pays for the clean-up events.
They issued a statement saying that anyone interested in helping fund neighborhood clean-ups are being directed to the City of Wichita.
