Wichita museum honors memory of co-founder with free admission

This weekend the Museum of World Treasures in Wichita's Old Towne, is offering free admission in honor of Co-Founder Dr. Jon Kardatzke.

Dr. Jon, as he liked to be known, passed away last Friday at age 85.  a museum spokesperson says the free admission is for both Saturday and Sunday, but on Sunday, they will be holding an open house from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

The public is also invited to add their stories on a temporary memory wall on the first floor of the museum.

Prior to co-founding Museum of World Treasures, Dr. Jon also co-founded West Wichita Family Physicians and practiced medicine for over 35 years.

Saturday, March 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday March 6 from noon to 5:00 p.m., the Museum will be providing free admission for those wishing to pay their respects and share their personal Dr. Jon memories.
