Wichita Police have identified a man suspected in the death of a missing Wichita woman.
Investigators say, Brentton Walker, 39, was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in the basement of a home, after finding Rachel Johnson, 43, dead inside a vehicle.
On Sept. 28, investigators were directed to a residence in the 1800 block of South Longford Circle. There, officers located the missing Ford Fusion and found Johnson deceased inside the vehicle. Officers then entered the home and located a man, 39, in the basement dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Preliminary findings indicate Johnson and the man had a prior domestic relationship. The investigation is still ongoing and there are no outstanding suspects involved in this case.
