Police are investigating the death of a 31-year-old Wichita man who was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run collision.
Around 10:37 Friday night, officers were dispatched to the area of 13th and Mosely for a report of an assault call. When officers arrived they found the injured, unconscious victim lying on the sidewalk. Fire and EMS administered life-saving measures but the man was pronounced dead on the scene.
The incident is being investigated by the Wichita Police Department Accident Follow-up Section and the Critical Accident Team.
The victim's name has not been released.
