One person is dead after a fatal hit-and-run crash in east Wichita early Saturday morning.
The incident occurred around 2 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Kellogg near the Woodlawn exit.
Witnesses told Wichita Police that the motorcyclist was speeding and slammed into the back of a red pickup truck in the center lane. The motorcyclist was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still searching to find the pickup, which left the scene.
