Wichita Police say it happened just after 1 a.m., near 25th and Amidon. A fight between a man, his girlfriend and her sister resulted in the girlfriend being stabbed in the upper torso area. The woman is expected to survive.
The man and the sister also suffered minor injuries in the altercation. The man was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail.
