A car ran into an apartment building in east Wichita Saturday night.
The crash took place around 11:45 p.m. in the 600 block of
Eastern Avenue, southeast of Kellogg and Rock Road. The car struck the apartment building where a child's bedroom was located but thankfully nobody was at home at the time. The driver fled the scene and has not been located.
The Red Cross is assisting the family.
