Wichita's annual Riverfest has multiple events planned for two more days.
Friday is Day 8 of Riverfest, the annual nine-day festival in downtown Wichita.
Friday's activities include a DJ Showcase at 5:15 p.m., and a Battle of the Bands performance at 6:30.
That's followed by by music performances from Sage the Gemini, and Gym Class Heroes.
Things get underway early on Saturday -- the Gravel Grinder starts at 8:00 a.m. at Top Golf Wichita, on N. Greenwich Road -- there's a 20-mile ride, and a 40-mile race.
There's a Riverfest Fishing Derby at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, and the Cowboy Bathtub Races at 10:30 a.m.
At 11:00 a.m. Saturday, there's the Riverfest Classic Car Show, and the Garage, showcasing cars.
Saturday at noon is College Days for Wichita State, WSU Tech, and NIAR; Saturday afternoon also features and Air Art Show, the Cardboard Regatta, an urban Disc Golf Putting Competition, and a Riverfest Native Expo Powwow Experience.
The big finale Saturday night has music performances by Rudy Love and the Encore band, Hank Azaria & the EZ Street Band (A Springsteen Celebration), ...then Riverfest ends with the Fireworks Finale at 10:45 p.m.; listen to the fireworks music on 103.7 KEYN.
