The Wichita Police Department says fake parking tickets are being placed on vehicles at Towne East Mall.
The fake citations have several mistakes, including a phony "Wichita Police" letterhead and misspellings which include "coast" instead of "cost" and "corporation" instead of "cooperation."
Police say if you receive one, please disregard it and throw it away.
