The Wichita School Board is considering banning cell phone use during school hours.
No decision was reached during a Monday workshop, but, School Board President Stan Reeser says they need to decide to either keep the current police, allowing the use of devices while they are not being instructed, or change it.
He says they will do research on what other districts are doing and talk with teachers, staff and parents before making any decisions.
