Three people have been arrested following a fatal shooting in south Wichita. It happened just before 8:00 p.m. Monday night in the Oaklawn neighborhood.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Department identified Donovan Graves, 19, who was shot in the 5200 block of S. Clifton, while in the process of making a drug deal. Investigators say he attempted to rob the drug seller, who was identified as Brian Youngman, 20. Youngman allegedly pulled a gun and shot Graves.
Two women drove Graves to a Quik Trip at 47th south and Hydraulic where they were met by Sheriff's Deputies. Graves was pounced dead at the scene.
Youngman was arrested a short time later in a nearby mobile home park on suspicion of first-degree murder.
The women, Lanita Baugh, 19, and Myrashia Griffin, 20, were taken into custody on suspicion of first-degree felony murder and aggravated robbery.
