The union representing over 1,000 Spirit Aerosystems engineers say they have reached an agreement on a new four year-contract.
SPEEA representamen said Friday that the agreement would increase the money available for wage increases for Spirit engineers by at least 19% over the 4 years, with provisions for greater increases if needed to keep up with labor market conditions.
The union will conduct a mail-in vote on the offer.
Meanwhile, Boeing workers plan to vote on a new contract offer next week to end their seven-week-old strike
