A Wichita woman, charged in connection with the death of her young son has pleaded guilty.
Last week Patrick Javonovich, 30, pleaded guilty to aggravated kidnapping, murder in the second-degree, and abuse of a child. Wednesday morning, Brandi Marchant, 25, also entered a guilty plea, in the death of Zaiden Javonovich, 2.
Responding to a domestic violence call in April of 2019, officers discovered the child unresponsive, wrapped tightly in a blanket, with his arms confined inside zip up pajamas that had been tied shut.
Officers tried to revive him, but it was later determined that the child had been dead for days.
Both Marchant and Javonovich, are awaiting sentencing.
