Wichita's new winter shelter for the homeless operated at full capacity during last week's cold snap. Mayor Lily Wu tells KNSS News plans call for a full-service shelter in the future, putting the homeless in contact with resources to help them get off the streets.
At Tuesday's work shop, the Wichita City Council will discuss golf carts. Mayor Wu says an ordinance was approved, but sent back for more input. The Council will hear from advisory boards Tuesday. Wu says most Wichitans don't know it's illegal to operate golf cart on a city street.
