HumanKind Ministries will again this year be providing essential items like food, blankets, children's coats, and pet food to thousands of low-income individuals and families. They are currently accepting applications for assistance to support those in need during the holiday season in Sedgwick County.
The application period for Operation Holiday runs from Friday through Saturday, Nov. 30. Residents can apply online at OperationHoliday.org, by phone at (316) 777-6097, or in person.
HumanKind is also seeking donations of new or gently used coats, blankets, and items from their Operation Holiday Wish List. Donations can be made at HumanKind’s Administrative Office or the Operation Holiday Warehouse. Additionally, monetary contributions are welcome to help purchase items in bulk for the program.
