A major winter storm continues to impact the Sunflower State, creating blizzard conditions in some areas.
A blizzard warning remains in effect for Sedgwick County and the city of Wichita until 6 p.m. Sunday.
The Emergency Accident Reporting Plan, or EARP, remains in effect as well.
With the exception of SE Kansas, the majority of roads in the state are reported as completely snow packed and icy. We strongly urge you to stay at home but if you have to be out and about, please slow down and use extreme caution!
Around 10 a.m., the Evergy website says around 800 customers are currently without power here in Sedgwick County.
Nearly all flights arriving at and departing from Wichita's Eisenhower National Airport have been cancelled through at least early afternoon. Check with your airline if you have a flight scheduled for today.
The NWS office here in Wichita officially measured 0.25" of ice, with the snow occurring on top of that. On a related note, the NWS office has transferred forecast duties to the Topeka office, due to a loss of power and failure of their backup generator. The doppler radar is also down thanks to the power loss.
Here are some snow reports around the state (as of 10 a.m.):

7.1" Dodge City
5" Topeka

4" McPherson
2" NW Wichita
