A woman suffered critical injuries in a two-vehicle crash late Wednesday night in west Wichita.
It happened around 10:20 p.m. at Shade Lane and Ridge Road, south of Central.
Wichita Police say a truck was heading south on Ridge Road while a car was going north when they collided. When officers arrived, the woman was trapped but emergency crews were able to get her out and transport her to the hospital. The driver of the truck was also taken to the hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating and say it’s not known yet if speeding or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
