A 31-year-old woman was hospitalized in critical condition after a crash north of Colwich. It happened at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Kansas Highway 96 & 151st Street West, about five miles northwest of Wichita.
A Chevy Camaro driven by Taylor Fulghum was stopped south-bound on 151st Street at K-96. The Kansas Highway Patrol investigation concluded she proceeded into the intersection and collided with a west-bound Dodge Ram on K-96 driven by 63-year-old Glenn Green of Hutchinson. Both vehicles ended up in the median.
Fulghum was originally listed in extremely critical condition, but was updated to 'critical' after she was extricated from the wreckage; she was not wearing a seat belt. She was taken to Via Christi-St. Francis hospital in downtown Wichita.
