Investigators have identified a woman killed in an accident south of Wichita.
The accident happened Monday afternoon near 63rd and south Broadway. Investigators say a truck rear-ended a car, then sped off. The driver then lost control and crossed the center line and struck an S-U-V head-on.
Anastasia Rooney, 26, of Derby, died at the sceene. The driver of the truck, 58, from Haysville, was listed in serious condition at an area hospital.
The case will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney for possible charges.
