Wichita Police say a woman, claiming to be the individual investigators have been attempting to identify called to identify herself. The call was made around 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Investigators immediately responded to her location, made contact, and transported her to City Hall so detectives could conduct a victim interview.
She was identified as a woman, 35, who lives in the area where the video was captured.
At this stage of the investigation, investigators believe this incident is a case of domestic violence where the woman was victimized by her boyfriend. She does not have any significant injuries.
The investigation into the video and the case will be presented to the appropriate attorney’s office for formal charging consideration.
