The Wichita Police Department is looking for the public's help after a bank robbery in west Wichita. At 9:15 Thursday, June 27, officers responded to the report of a bank robbery in the area of Maple and West St. An unknown suspect had entered the bank wearing a mask and indicated that he was armed with a firearm. The suspect fled in a vehicle without a tag.
Investigators from the Wichita Police Department are assisting the Federal Bureau of Investigations to follow-up on this case. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call 911, call investigators at 316-268-4407, or make an anonymous tip through Crimestoppers at 316-267-2111.
