Dash-cam video from a Sedgwick County Sheriff’s deputy shows a driver going the wrong way on Kellogg near Ridge Road.
The incident happened just before 7:00 a.m. Sunday with sunrise underway; the deputy caught up with the pickup truck while other deputies warned motorists who were driving in the correct lanes, but on-coming towards the wrong-way pickup.
The 24-year-old driver had an alcohol level in excess of two-and-a-half times the legal limit; he was booked into the Sedgwick County jail on charges of DUI, reckless driving, and transporting an open container.
