For the first time in three years, Cheney Reservoir water levels have officially reached normal again. Wichita Mayor Lily Wu says she's thinking about the future and how to make sure the city has plenty of water. Wu says we "need to be mindful that this is a shared resource that all of us need."
The City of Wichita, Sedgwick County Commission, and USD 259 are holding a special meeting Wednesday. Mayor Wu says the idea is to talk about ways the three entities can be "more effective as government" in sharing resources and services.
The meeting begins at 9 am Tuesday at the Kansas Leadership Center, at 325 E. Douglas.
Wu commented during Mondays with the Mayor on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
