The Vegas Wedding Chamber has announced the return of “Vegas Marries the Military,” an annual community initiative offering free weddings and vow renewals in the Wedding Capital of the World to deserving American military personnel and veterans
Couples may submit their love stories, photos and service backgrounds beginning June 1 for the chance to win a wedding of a lifetime they otherwise couldn’t afford.
“Las Vegas is proud to honor our military heroes by giving them the weddings they deserve,” said Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya. “This is our community’s way of saying thank you, not just with words, but with unforgettable memories.”
The Vegas Wedding Chamber will choose seven couples, each representing different branches of the armed forces, to receive fully donated ceremonies, receptions and amenities. Selected couples may also invite their closest family and friends.
“It’s not very often you see a city, especially like Las Vegas, do this specifically for the military and honor them,” said Tina, who married her husband Mark in 2024. “It’s amazing, it’s awesome.”
The reception will include a buffet dinner, wedding cake, live DJ, professional photography, custom décor and surprise guest appearances by community leaders and dignitaries.
The Vegas Wedding Chamber is also seeking wedding industry professionals, including officiants, florists, makeup artists, hairstylists, transportation providers, photographers and hotel partners providing rooms, interested in donating their goods and services to support the event.
Interested military couples are invited to enter the contest from June 1 through July 4 here. Vendors may also apply to donate their goods and services now through Aug. 1 here.
This year’s celebration will take place on Nov. 6 and will feature individual ceremonies across Clark County, followed by a celebratory group reception at the Vegas Event Center.
