She was immortalized in several hit songs starting at a very young age thanks to her rap star father, but Hailie Jade Scott, daughter of Eminem, has been all grown up for some time.
And now she’s married.
Over the weekend, Scott, 28, married long-term partner Evan McClintock at what was called a “beautiful” ceremony attended by several of her dad’s high-powered hip-hop luminary friends, including Dr. Dre and 50 Cent.
“Waking up a wife this week,” Scott wrote in an Instagram post that included pictures of the festivities. “We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt.
“Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that travelled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife.”
The pair met while both were attending Michigan State University in 2016 and have been engaged for just over a year. TMZ reported the event was held at Greencrest Manor in Battle Creek, Mich.
