A Florida couple is facing kidnapping and attempted murder charges after they chained and tortured a Florida man over three days, trying to force him to admit to infidelity, authorities said.

The couple, Marie Dorsainvil, 51, and Occius Dorsainvil, 56, allegedly forced the man to drink bleach and threatened that if he went to the bathroom, they would make him eat it or kill him.

The relationship between the two is unclear, but both took place in the kidnapping and are now facing charges.

The incident, which could be the plot of a horror movie, started in December when Marie asked the victim for a ride to her apartment, police said to WTJV.

Marie told the victim he could come upstairs, however, he declined, saying the two were both married. The two ended up going in together when Marie told the victim her husband was in Haiti.

The victim was then sitting on the couch when Occius entered the apartment with a gun and threatened the man. Occius then bound his hands and feet together with a cord, police reported.

After being bound, the man was forced to record a statement admitting that he was having an affair with the suspect's wife.

It was then that they started threatening him more, like telling him he would have to eat his feces if he went to the bathroom or get shot, cops reported.

The victim was offered food on his second day of captivity, and he refused, being scared it would force him to go to the bathroom, police said.

The TV station reported that the couple added chains to his bindings and demanded $50,000 cash and his car's title.

On day three of being held captive, the kidnappers forced the victim to shower at gunpoint, then forced him to drive them in his car to a location where they planned to set him free.

The man was released, but only after he was forced to drink a container of bleach and Haitian rum, which caused him to pass out.

After he came to, police shared that he ran for help, and together, they were able to track down the suspects who confessed to the crimes.

On Friday, the two appeared in a Miami-Dade courtroom, according to WTJV.
