A new report from the Republican National Committee claims that President Joe Biden has spent 532 days of the 1,326 days he’s been in office on vacation.

The report highlights that for the average American, who on average gets 11 days of vacation a year, this would take 48 years to accumulate.

Mark Paoletta, the general counsel of the White House budget office under former President Donald Trump, shared harsh words for the president in the report.

“The image of Biden fast asleep and lying flat on his back in his chair at the beach while America and the world is on fire will define the Biden presidency,” Paoletta said. “Inflation has been out of control; prices still way too high; our border overrun with millions of illegal aliens committing violent crimes on our citizens; the world in a perilous state; and all Biden wants to do is go on vacation and check out — for more than 530 days.”

The report also noted that Biden’s day in the sun at Rehoboth Beach in Delaware was his “16th straight day on vacation.”

The RNC is not the first to report on President Biden’s vacation or travel habits, as the New York Post reported last year that in his first 957 days in office, Biden spent all or part of 382 days on personal overnight trips away from the White House.

When looking at Biden’s predecessors, former Presidents Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama vacationed for just 11% of their two terms in office. Former President Jimmy Carter took just 79 days off during his four years in office.

Former President Donald Trump spent 26% of his presidency on personal trips out of Washington or 381 of his 1,461 days in office.

On Saturday, Biden was in Delaware having lunch at Fieldstone Golf Club with former Sen. Ted Kaufman (D-PA).

The White House has responded to the report and its accounting for Biden’s days off. Spokesperson Andrew Bates said that it was inaccurate.

“It’s not a surprise that the same geniuses who attack President Biden for petting hero dogs and liking ice cream can’t count, but he has taken fewer vacation days than the modern average for presidents and works hard every day, wherever he is,” Bates said.
