Everyone is invested in the latest drama involving music icon Taylor Swift and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. As a result, Kraft Heinz is joining the ranks, releasing a condiment that’s a clever nod to the duo.
The new sauce is being called “Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch,” in reference to the viral post on X from a popular Swift fan account that described a fan photo with Swift in Kelce’s VIP family suite on Sunday.
“Taylor Swift was eating a piece of chicken with ketchup and seemingly ranch!” the post said. It has since been viewed 32.3 million times.
Heinz wasted no time in jumping in on the excitement surrounding the couple, sharing on its Instagram that a “new era for Heinz” was “coming soon,” referencing Swift’s “Eras Tour.”
In a statement to CNN, Heinz shared that only 100 bottles of “Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch” would be produced as the sauce already exists for the company under the name “Kranch.”
Kranch debuted in 2019 and is described as “an excellent dipping sauce for French fries and chicken nuggets.”
Swift’s appearance at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City has left ripples throughout the sports and media world, with social media blowing up over the two’s reported dating.
Since the game, Kelce has seen a 400% increase in his merchandise sales, the New York Post reported, with his jersey becoming a top-five-selling jersey in the NFL. His social media accounts have gained over 300,000 followers, and the two have been trending on social media all week.
During an episode of his podcast, the “New Heights Podcast,” which he runs with his brother and NFL player Jason Kelce, the Chiefs tight end said that Swift “looked amazing” while at the game.
“Everybody was talking about her in great light and, on top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans, of course,” Kelce said.
