If you need advice on what not to do while playing basketball, a man in St. Paul is a prime example.
St. Paul Police are investigating an incident at Como Park Elementary after a man shot himself by accident. It happened during the elementary school's open house Thursday night.
It happened around 5:45pm when responding officers found a 30-year old man with a gunshot wound to his leg.
According to police reports, he was apparently carrying the handgun on his body. The gun was unholstered while he played basketball. The gun then discharged hitting him in the leg.
Investigtors say the man does have a valid permit to carry.
No one else was injured, and charges have not been filed.
