A 35-year-old teacher at a Christian school – who is also married and a mother – was recently arrested in Alabama after she allegedly had sex with teen boys.
According to the Luverne Journal, Chrystal Kari Marie Frost was arrested in late August and charged with one count of electronic solicitation of a child, one count of traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, and two counts of a school employee engaging in sex act with student under 19, all felonies.
“These charges stem from reports made to the Luverne Police Department based on mandatory reporting requirements of the school,” said Luverne Police Department Captain Mason Adcock, per the Aug.
31 report in the Journal. “This is an ongoing investigation.”
Frost was also charged with two counts of a school employee distributing obscene material to a student, a Class A misdemeanor. She has worked as a teacher at Crenshaw Christian Academy.
Crenshaw Christian Academy Board President SalLee Sasser-Williams said the school fully cooperated with the investigation into Frost, the Journal reported.
“The school’s administration and our board are doing everything we can. We have been completely cooperating and are trying to process what’s going on with this ourselves,” she said. While Police Chief Michael Johnson also confirmed the investigation, he also warned that some information about the case circulating on social media is false.
According to Inside Edition Digital, which obtained official documents related to the case, Frost is a mother of three. She reportedly resigned Aug. 23 from her teaching job after allegedly sending lewd photos to a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy.
An incident report said she sent the 15-year-old (referred to by police as “GT”) a “breast nudity picture” through the social media app Snap Chat and that he sent it around to other students. Within two weeks of sending the photo, she had sex with the minor, said the report.
“The sex occurred ‘on a piece of land near or belonging to his family, for which he dropped a PIN for her to locate’ GT told police, saying it happened ‘4-5 times’ according to the incident report,” Inside Edition reported.
Police interviewed GT and the 16-year-old (referred to as “AP” by police), who also said he received a photo and had sexual relations with Frost.
“The teacher made no conversation with him from arrival to ending of a sexual contact and later only sent two more pictures and then blocked him totally from Snapchat,” said the incident report of AP’s encounter with Frost. GT said that he decided to end contact with her.
Following interviews with the teens, Frost was arrested. As of Sept. 5, Frost had yet to enter a plea deal, according to Inside Edition. Conditions of release obtained by the outlet prohibit her from being in the presence of an individual under 18 years old unless supervised by another adult.
