The jewelry company Shane Co. has quite the offer for those who are looking for love and are willing to document their experiences while searching, as one lucky lover selected could earn $1,500 to go on 15 first dates.

“Just in time for cuffing season, we want to pay someone $1,500 to go on 15 first dates,” a press release says. “The selected winner would be required to find the dates (via a dating app or another avenue) and document their journey, then report back on their experience.”

The company shared in a press release that while it may take a lot of courage to “put your heart on the line,” the result could be something to cherish forever.

Those who will be considered for the job must be single and be willing and able to go and find their own dates. The dates don’t have to be strangers, but they must be 15 different people, the release shared.

Shane Co. also shared that the candidate for its love research must be at least 18-years-old and willing to document their experiences on each date. Documentation will be done through a worksheet and a photo taken of the date, the release shared.

“Should the winner have a unique, budding love story to share and wants to share it publicly, we would love to feature their story on The Loupe, the Shane Co. blog,” Johnray Strickland, the jeweler’s director of digital marketing, shared with CNN.

Shane Co. did offer a safety warning to whoever is selected, recommending they have backup plans and people to help them in case of any situation that could arise.

“Shane Co. is in the love business,” Strickland told CNN. “We love love and are happy to provide a fun way for people to go on dates and maybe even find their person.”

Applications must be submitted by Feb. 10, with the winner being announced on Feb. 27. After a winner is selected, the candidate must complete all of the dates within five months.

If the date-goer does happen to want a second date with one of their partners, Shane Co. says, “don’t worry.”

“If you hit it off with one of your dates; second dates are strongly encouraged!” the release said. “They just don’t go toward your final count.”
