PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A teenager is accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend and her mother to death at their home in the Lehigh Valley, hours after the girl told him she was dating someone else.

John Bradley, 17, faces two counts of criminal homicide in the killings of 16-year-old Rianna Glass and her mother, Rosalyn, in North Catasauqua, Northampton County.

The two teens had broken up last month, authorities said. According to investigators, Rianna Glass texted a friend the morning of Sept. 14 that she couldn’t get Bradley to leave her house.

That was the last text she ever sent. Authorities said Bradley killed the teen and her mother, then stole the family’s car.

Hours later, police said he was driving around with a 14-year-old girl when he crashed in Upper Saucon. They traced the car to Glass and found the victims’ bodies.

Investigators have not yet been able to speak with the 14-year-old girl because of her injuries. It’s not clear if she will also face charges.
