Not looking forward to a summer of your teenager lounging around the house, playing video games or overdosing on social media? One popular gym wants to give them a physical outlet during the summer months.
Planet Fitness, which has 2,400 workout locations nationwide, announced it will launch its High School Summer Pass Program for the third straight year, in conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Month.
The program is open to all teens aged 14 to 19 and offers free exercise plans tailored to their age group as well as free workouts with certified trainers all summer long.
Planet Fitness says 3.5 million teenagers enrolled in the program last summer.
This summer’s program also features a competitive aspect, with Planet Fitness awarding 10 of the program’s enrollees $10,000 individual academic scholarships as part of a video contest on TikTok.
Teens under 18 must have a parent or guardian present to enroll, and registration is already open. The program runs through August 31.
